Meet Rev. David Johnson, Youth Director

Rev. David Johnson has been a member of St. Paul Baptist Church since April 1993 and is one of our pastor's  younger brothers.  He is married to Sis. Kaneshia Johnson also an active member and is the proud father of two daughters, Kamiah Adams & Kiara Johnson and a son David II.  He is a part our Tuesday night Bible class and assists teaching the Jr. Boys Sunday School Class and is also on the ministerial staff. Currently, Rev. David serves as Youth Director, where he is eagerly incorporating the Purpose-Driven format into the Youth Ministry. To email Rev. David Johnson click on the envelope

Youth Ministry Profile

The Youth Development Ministry is full of excitement and creativity.  Since this ministry focus is on youth from ages 0 to 23, an exuberance is nestled deep within the fabric of this group. The Youth Development Ministry is broken into three groups in order to minister to youth at their particular stages of life.   The groups are as follows:  The Gifts of God (ages 0 - 12), Rebels In Christ (ages 13 - 18), & Followers of Christ (ages 19 - 23). Each group incorporates the five purposes of the church in a way that uniquely suits that group.  Levels of commitment are identified in order to better serve the individual youth.  We encouage the parents of our youth as well as those emerging leaders within the ranks of the youth to become a part of the youth development team.
